I thought I'd drop a quick line to see how the folks are doing in the states affected by Katrina? We see the news reports but how are things on the ground for these people and is enough help getting through now?

Things are real bad. This is the worst Catastrophe in our history. This makes the Tsunami and 9/11 look like little things. There will be over 10,000+ deaths and many Billions of Dollars for cleanup and reconstruction. There are rapes, murders, gunfights, prison breaks, hostage crisis, starvation and more hell like deseases this Country has never seen before. Thanks for your concern.
